Job Overview
- Manufacture precision components to supplied CAD and drawings
- Operate and program CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
- Confidently set and run multiple machines during peak production periods
- Maintain tooling and program records for all components produced
- Work closely with Production Engineering to improve processes and machining methods
- Carry out basic inspection of parts to ensure ongoing quality standards
- Follow health and safety procedures and contribute positively to a safe working environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience working on CNC lathes
- Apprentice trained would be beneficial
- Previous CAD/CAM experience would be beneficial
