Location: Accrington

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30, Friday: 07:30 – 11:30

Pay: £19 per hour

Holiday: 33 days per year

Overtime: Plenty of overtime opportunities available

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer to join a precision machining company specialising in small‑batch machining up to 1m³ components. The successful candidate will work on 3, 4, and 5‑axis CNC machines, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate 3, 4, and 5‑axis CNC milling machines using Fanuc and CadCamVIRO, transitioning to Fusion 360
  • Set up and tool machines for a variety of jobs
  • Produce small-batch precision components up to 1m³
  • Perform first‑off checks and ongoing quality inspections to ensure tolerance compliance
  • Maintain accurate production records and report issues promptly
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and workflow efficiency

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience on 3, 4, and 5‑axis CNC milling machines
  • Proficient in Fanuc and CadCamVIRO; willingness to learn Fusion 360
  • Experience with steel, alloys, brass, and other materials
  • Ability to work to micron-level tolerances
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
