About the Role: We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer to join a precision machining company specialising in small‑batch machining up to 1m³ components. The successful candidate will work on 3, 4, and 5‑axis CNC machines, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and operate 3, 4, and 5‑axis CNC milling machines using Fanuc and CadCamVIRO, transitioning to Fusion 360
- Set up and tool machines for a variety of jobs
- Produce small-batch precision components up to 1m³
- Perform first‑off checks and ongoing quality inspections to ensure tolerance compliance
- Maintain accurate production records and report issues promptly
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and workflow efficiency
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience on 3, 4, and 5‑axis CNC milling machines
- Proficient in Fanuc and CadCamVIRO; willingness to learn Fusion 360
- Experience with steel, alloys, brass, and other materials
- Ability to work to micron-level tolerances
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
