THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an opportunity available for a Client Manager in our Commercial Insurance team. Working with us as a Client Manager will allow you to showcase your skills by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients across a wide range of industry sectors.
About The Role
- Proactively manage valued client and insurer relationships.
- Negotiate, place, and report to clients at renewal, mid‐term and new business stages.
- Ensure adequacy and appropriateness of cover.
- Manage personal workloads and meet deadlines.
- Keep accurate client records and files at all times, including timely inputting of all client data into our bespoke system.
- Provide clients with high‐quality policy documentation in accordance with FCA regulations.
- Build good working relationships with internal departments and colleagues.
- Respond to client queries, including changes in cover and risk, in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure that company procedures, excellent client service standards and compliance regulations are adhered to and maintained.
- Contribute to the achievement of team and business objectives by generating sales, identifying gaps, up‐selling and cross‐selling.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial broking experience.
- Good all‐around commercial insurance experience and technical knowledge across a range of class of insurance products.
- Enthusiastic client‐focused approach.
- Ability to develop strong client and insurer relationships.
- Ability to support colleagues in a close team environment.
- Strong working knowledge of most commercial classes of business and associated insurance products.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to prepare high‐quality documentation.
- Highly organised with strong administrative skills.
- IT proficient (Acturis experience desirable).
- High level of motivation and resilience with a proactive attitude.
Desirable Criteria
- In possession of or working towards Cert CII.
- Experience working with Financial Line Insurance products.
- Acturis experience.
