The Weymouth Club is looking for a passionate and energetic Registered Dietician to join our growing Wellness Department. The RD will assist with promoting nutritional services and programming in our high-energy health club setting. Position Summary
The Registered Dietitian is responsible for providing various group and individual nutritional services that offer members a program to optimize metabolism and weight, improve fitness performance, and achieve an overall sense of vitality. The Registered Dieticians will stay up to date on industry trends and knowledge.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs individual personalized nutrition and wellness assessments
- Markets, promotes, and implements individual and group nutrition programs
- Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive nutritional programs to ensure clients are satisfied with their program and remain motivated to attain their personal wellness goals
- Leads and facilitates health and wellness educational seminars
- Interprets memberβs InBody & health assessment results and provides appropriate recommendations
- Meets monthly revenue and session goals
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Dietitian with an active license
- Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with a wide variety of people
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience and comfort with public speaking, presentations and social media marketing
- Interest and willingness to collaborate with exercise professionals to teach participants about the connections between nutrition and exercise
- Must be motivated, energetic, punctual, responsible, and exhibit a positive attitude to be an excellent role model for staff members and partners
- Considerable skill to build external partnerships
- Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes days/evenings/weekends as needed by the department
