We are now looking for an experienced Systems Analyst to join our established IT team and play a key role in the development, support, and enhancement of our business-critical systems.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Systems Manager and working within a collaborative team of IT professionals, you will be responsible for supporting and developing our Epicor ERP environment and associated systems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with business engagement. You'll work closely with Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to deliver system improvements, enhance reporting capabilities, and support a range of business transformation initiatives. Whether you're troubleshooting critical issues, developing insightful reports, or helping to deliver strategic projects, you'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operational Support
    • Deliver high-quality support for Epicor ERP and related business systems.
    • Ensure service levels are maintained while providing an excellent user experience.
    • Build and maintain essential reports for business and IT stakeholders.
    • Support Finance teams and end users through system improvements and training.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to prioritise and deliver both operational and project-related work.
  • Projects & Change
    • Support the delivery of system enhancements and business change initiatives.
    • Assist with the transition of new services from project delivery into live support.
    • Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
    • Drive continuous improvement across the systems landscape.
  • Process Improvement
    • Develop and refine processes that improve efficiency and supportability.
    • Enhance change control and governance procedures.
    • Contribute ideas that improve systems, services, and ways of working.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with a proactive, customer-focused approach. You will ideally have:

  • At least 3 years' experience working with a major ERP system (Epicor experience would be highly advantageous).
  • Strong Microsoft SQL skills.
  • Experience supporting Finance systems, applications, or modules.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes including jobs, activities, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Visio.
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • A desire to learn, improve, and help shape the future of our systems environment.
