Wex Photo Video is looking for an experienced Brand Operations Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of brand and creative work across the business.

This role sits at the heart of the marketing function, ensuring the Design and CRM production teams are focused on the highest-value activity, resources are utilised effectively, and stakeholders have clear visibility of priorities and delivery timelines.

You'll be responsible for establishing efficient workflows, managing creative demand, balancing competing priorities and ensuring projects move from briefing through to delivery with pace, quality and consistency.

Working closely with Marketing, Commercial and Retail teams, you'll act as the central point of coordination for brand production, enabling the creative team to do their best work while ensuring the business receives the right output at the right time.

This is an operational leadership role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, building effective processes and working collaboratively with stakeholders to maximise the impact of available resource.

Purpose

The Brand Operations Manager is responsible for the planning, governance and operational delivery of all brand and creative activity across Wex.

The role ensures work is prioritised against business objectives, creative resources are allocated effectively, and projects are delivered efficiently, consistently and on schedule.

Working across Marketing, Commercial, Retail and Product teams, the Brand Operations Manager provides a single point of coordination for incoming work, balancing business demand with team capacity while continually improving processes, workflows and operational efficiency.

  • Resource Planning & Workflow Management
  • Own the end-to-end workflow for all brand and creative requests.
  • Manage resource allocation across Design and CRM production teams to maximise efficiency and delivery.
  • Balance competing priorities, ensuring the highest-value commercial initiatives receive appropriate focus.
  • Maintain clear production schedules, workload visibility and delivery timelines.
  • Stakeholder Management & Prioritisation
  • Act as the primary contact for stakeholders requesting creative resource.
  • Challenge, prioritise and schedule work based on commercial impact, customer value and business objectives.
  • Facilitate planning sessions with Marketing, Commercial and Retail teams to agree priorities and manage capacity.
  • Ensure stakeholders have clear expectations around timelines, dependencies and delivery.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Develop and continually improve creative operations, briefing processes and ways of working.
  • Introduce frameworks and governance that improve planning, transparency and efficiency.
  • Identify bottlenecks, remove blockers and improve throughput without compromising quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, workflow optimisation and better utilisation of available resources.
  • Delivery & Production
  • Oversee the production and delivery of creative assets across digital, CRM, retail, print and campaign activity.
  • Ensure projects progress efficiently from briefing through design, review and final approval.
  • Coordinate production schedules across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Support campaign planning by ensuring creative delivery aligns with launch dates and trading priorities.
  • Brand Governance
  • Ensure all creative work adheres to established brand guidelines and approval processes.
  • Work alongside Marketing stakeholders to maintain consistency across customer touchpoints.
  • Coordinate review and approval processes, ensuring assets meet quality, legal and compliance requirements before publication.

  • Establish scalable processes that improve efficiency and visibility.
  • Standardise briefing, approvals and project management practices.
  • Improve utilisation of project management and workflow tools.
  • Develop reporting that measures team throughput, capacity and delivery performance.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Build trusted relationships across Marketing, Commercial, Retail and Product teams.
  • Act as the bridge between stakeholders and creative teams.
  • Influence prioritisation decisions using data, business impact and resource availability.
  • Communicate proactively on project status, risks and dependencies.
  • Performance Management
  • Monitor delivery against agreed SLAs and project timelines.
  • Track resource utilisation, workload distribution and delivery performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce delivery lead times.
  • Report regularly on operational performance and recommend improvements.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience using resource planning or work management platforms such as Monday. com, Asana or Jira.
  • Proven experience in Brand Operations, Creative Operations, Marketing Operations or Traffic Management within an omnichannel business.
  • Experience managing creative production workflows across multiple channels.
  • Strong project and resource management skills.
  • Demonstrable experience balancing competing stakeholder priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading small teams and managing workloads.
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with confidence influencing at all levels.
  • Experience implementing operational improvements, processes and workflow optimisation.
  • Comfortable using project management and collaboration tools to manage delivery.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to prioritise work based on business value.

  • Experience working in ecommerce or retail.
  • Experience within a promotions-led trading environment.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience in Marketing, Business, Operations or a related discipline.
