About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious Enterprise Business Development Representative (BDR) to play a key role in driving growth across the UK & Ireland market. Your primary focus will be generating Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs) with senior decision-makers within the Customer Care, Customer Support, Customer Experience and Operations functions of enterprise businesses.

The role will focus on target sectors including:

  • E-commerce
  • Insurance
  • Mobility
  • Travel
  • Telecommunications
  • Utilities

You will take ownership of building a high-quality sales pipeline through a combination of creative outbound activity, relationship building, partnerships and industry events. As the owner of the initial qualification process, you will identify and develop opportunities where there is a clear business need, relevant decision-maker and compelling use case before handing qualified opportunities over to the wider sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage senior decision-makers across target accounts.
  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
  • Develop creative and effective outbound campaigns across email, phone, LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
  • Conduct initial discovery and qualification conversations to understand business challenges, requirements and potential use cases.
  • Apply a structured qualification methodology to assess opportunity quality and sales potential.
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders including Heads of Customer Care, Customer Experience, Operations, COO and CCO-level contacts.
  • Attend relevant industry events and conferences to generate new relationships and opportunities.
  • Identify and develop potential partner relationships that can support market growth.
  • Work closely with the wider sales and marketing teams to maximise pipeline generation and conversion.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure strong qualification and pipeline hygiene.
  • Continuously test and improve outbound messaging, prospecting strategies and conversion rates.

Key Performance Indicators

Success in the role will be measured against:

  • Number of qualified opportunities generated
  • Conversion rate from prospect to qualified opportunity
  • Quality and accuracy of opportunity qualification
  • CRM and pipeline hygiene

About You

We are looking for someone with 3+ years' experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within a SaaS, technology, BPO, consulting or Customer Experience environment. You should have:

  • A proven track record of successful outbound sales and pipeline generation.
  • Experience with cold outreach, self-sourced opportunities and event-based prospecting.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A commercially minded and consultative approach to business development.
  • The energy, resilience and ambition to play a key role in growing a business in the UK & Ireland.
  • Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM.
  • An interest in using AI-powered sales and business development tools to improve productivity and performance.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
  • The ability and willingness to work from a central London office at least 3 days per week.

What's on Offer

  • Up to £50,000 basic salary + uncapped bonus.
  • £80,000 OTE, including an initial ramp-up period.
  • The opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth of an expanding business across the UK & Ireland.
  • Significant ownership and responsibility within the sales function.
  • Hybrid working, with a central London office.
  • 38 days' holiday, including bank holidays.
  • Company MacBook.
  • WeWork access.
  • Annual team offsites and company events.
