Finance & Business Operations
The Finance & Business Operations team supports an array of territory objectives, with a focus on business performance management, real estate underwriting, capital expenditure investment appraisal, revenue optimization, cash flow management and other strategic initiatives.
About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Finance & Business Operations Analyst to drive key cross functional projects and initiatives across the UK, Ireland & Emerging Markets. Reporting into the Finance & Business Operations Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team’s analytical and financial initiatives. This is an entry-level position ideal for a motivated individual looking to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Data Analysis & Portfolio Support: Assist with the collection, organization, and analysis of data to support portfolio optimization efforts, including operational efficiency, ROI, revenue growth, and profitability initiatives.
- Financial Modelling Support: Contribute to financial modelling and analysis for Real Estate transactions, pipeline reviews, and asset performance assessments.
- Reporting: Collaborate with the Senior Analyst to prepare monthly P&L reports and key performance indicators for review by Territory Leaders.
- Presentation Development: Assist in creating presentations and materials for monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc business reviews.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Provide assistance in developing the territory’s annual operating budget and quarterly forecasts under the guidance of the Senior Analyst and FP&A team.
- Cash Flow Monitoring: Support the preparation of weekly cash flow reports, contributing to effective cash management and insights for the Board of Directors.
- Business Rates Project Management: Analyze real estate tax relief opportunities to maximize relief granted, develop forecast modelling, and support the business in optimizing expenditure. Coordinate with external consultants to streamline business rates liability forecasting and operationalize relief processes.
- General Team Support: Undertake administrative and research tasks to ensure the smooth operation of financial and strategic projects.
Who we are looking for:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a willingness to learn financial modelling techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Google Slides
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive and resourceful mindset with a strong desire to grow and take on new challenges
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a team setting
