We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected provider of water hygiene compliance services for an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join their growing team. The Role

As a Water Hygiene Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out a range of planned preventative maintenance and monitoring tasks to help clients remain compliant with Legionella control regulations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out temperature monitoring of hot and cold water systems
  • Showerhead cleaning, descaling, and disinfection
  • Cold water storage tank cleaning and disinfection
  • Inspecting water systems, including cold water storage tanks and calorifiers
  • Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) inspections and servicing
  • Basic remedial plumbing works, including removing dead legs and small water system modifications
  • Collecting water samples for microbiological analysis
  • Inspecting domestic hot and cold water systems to identify potential compliance issues
