Westwood Recruitment are currently working with a leading company to recruit an experienced Production Engineer in Milton Keynes. As a Production Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance and maintenance of high-speed printing, inserting and ancillary production equipment used to deliver critical documents for customers. Key Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain and optimise production machinery in line with defined operating standards.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) within agreed timescales and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
- Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns, carrying out fault diagnosis and repairs.
- Undertake hands-on analysis and structured problem solving to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the production environment.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, reliability and equipment performance.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production and engineering targets.
- Ensure all engineering activities are carried out with appropriate consideration for confidentiality, data security and workplace safety.
