Our client is seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join the maintenance team at HMP Manchester. The successful candidate will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the prison estate, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out decorating, joinery, and general building repairs
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance works
- Undertake fabric repairs and refurbishment tasks
- Accurately assess and scope maintenance requirements
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials
- Comply with all health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with prison staff and maintenance teams
- Participate in callout rotas where required
Requirements
