We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our growing team across the North West. This is a field-based role working across a variety of commercial sites. You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on a range of fire and security systems while building strong relationships with customers.
Location: Manchester and the North-West
Key Responsibilities- Service and maintain fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
- Complete all service documentation and reports accurately
- Ensure systems meet relevant British Standards
- Provide excellent customer service on-site
- Support with occasional small installation works when required
- Participate in a shared telephone support call-out rota
- CCTV (IP & analogue – Hikvision, Dahua)
- Access Control (Paxton, Comelit PAC)
- Fire Alarms (BS5839 compliant)
- Intruder Alarms (Texecom, Honeywell Galaxy)
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of fire and security systems
- Good understanding of industry standards
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Professional and reliable with good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to pass security vetting
- Competitive salary (£35,000 – £40,000)
