We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our growing team across the North West. This is a field-based role working across a variety of commercial sites. You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on a range of security systems while building strong relationships with customers.

Pay: £39,000-£43,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience) + monthly bonus of £108

Location: Travel required around areas of North-West (vehicle provided)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintain CCTV systems
  • Experience working with intruder alarms, access control systems and ideally fire alarms also
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
  • Complete all service documentation and reports accurately
  • Ensure systems meet relevant British Standards
  • Provide excellent customer service on-site
  • Support with occasional small installation works when required
  • Participate in a shared telephone support call-out rota

Systems Experience Required:

  • CCTV (IP & analogue – Hikvision, Dahua)

It is also preferable if you have experience in the following:

  • Access Control (Paxton, Comelit PAC)
  • Fire Alarms (BS5839 compliant)
  • Intruder Alarms (Texecom, Honeywell Galaxy)

  • Proven experience in a similar role - minimum 3 years
  • Strong knowledge of security systems
  • Good understanding of industry standards
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Professional and reliable with good communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to pass security vetting
