We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 2 (C) Hiab day Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a HGV 2 (C) Hiab vehicle for our clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving HGV 2 Hiab (C) vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety. This is a temporary position.
Duties
- Safely operate a HGV 2 Hiab (C) lorry in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations.
- Multi drop deliveries of steel and brick.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV 2 Hiab (C) driving license with a clean driving record.
- Hold a Valid Hiab License.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability.
- No more than 6 points showing on license.
- No DD, DR, TT99 or IN10 endorsements showing on license.
PAYE Pay Rate:
- £16.50ph basic
- Overtime £24.00ph
- Holidays accrued
- £18.49ph basic
- Overtime £27.00ph
- Holidays included guaranteed minimum 8hrs.
