We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 (C) 8‑wheeler Tipper Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Class 2 (C) 8‑wheeler Tipper lorry to collect or tip materials efficiently and safely across designated routes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving HGV 2 (C) 8‑wheeler Tipper vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety.

Duties

  • Safely operate a Class 2 (C) 8‑wheeler tipper lorry in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collect and tip materials to various sites, ensuring timely and accurate drop‑offs.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, starting at 0600.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a 8‑wheeler Tipper driver.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to tipper driving and material handling.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability.
