Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Engineer – London & Surrounding Areas

Salary: £45,000 – £53,000 per year (negotiable based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: London & covering M25 area

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to cover London and surrounding areas, servicing and maintaining a variety of electrical systems and HVAC equipment in commercial buildings, data centres, laboratories, and retail properties.

The role involves fault-finding, servicing, and maintenance, along with installation of new systems for HVAC, lighting, and panels. We are looking for an engineer with strong technical knowledge, experience with electrical circuit diagrams, and the ability to produce clear technical reports.

We are open to receiving CVs from electricians who are looking to take a step up into an Electrical Engineer position, with full training and support provided.

Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain electrical systems and HVAC equipment in commercial buildings, data centres, laboratories, and more
• Undertake installation of new HVAC systems, lighting, and panels
• Perform fault-finding on electrical systems
• Be conversant in electrical circuit diagrams
• Produce simplified technical reports
• Maintain strong customer relations
• Work within a team, sharing knowledge and expertise

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence
• Electrically qualified with at least 3 years of experience (preferred, but evidence of knowledge will be considered)
• Test and inspection qualification preferred
• DBS check required (can be arranged if not already held)
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Excellent customer relations
• A strong work ethic and the desire to grow in the company
• Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team
