We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 2 (C) Hiab Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an HGV 2 (C) Hiab vehicle for our clients, based in Gorton who work with railway contractors. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving HGV 2 Hiab (C) vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety. This is a temporary position.
Duties
- Safely operate a HGV 2 Hiab (C) lorry in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV 2 Hiab (C) driving license with a clean driving record.
- Hold a Valid Hiab License.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability.
These pay rates are PAYE: Day Hiab Driver Pay - £17ph basic, overtime after 8hrs £25.50ph; Night Hiab Driver Pay - £18ph basic, overtime after 8hrs £27ph; Weekend Driver Pay - £19ph basic, overtime after 8hrs £28.50ph.
