Are you a talented chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment? We’re looking for an experienced Agency Chef to join a busy hospitality team in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in high-volume kitchens, delivering great food under pressure and being part of a team that takes pride in what they do.
Location: Edinburgh EH1
Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Duration: Initially 4–6 weeks with potential for ongoing work

What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to company standards
- Working efficiently in a busy, high-volume kitchen environment
- Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy service periods
- Ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are always followed
- Keeping your section clean, organised and running smoothly
- Adapting quickly to different kitchen environments and requirements
- Helping deliver an excellent experience for customers
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience working as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant, hotel or catering environment
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy services
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the team
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach
