We are seeking an experienced HV Substation Project Manager with strong technical expertise in HV environments, NEC4 contracts, subcontractor management, programme delivery, and commercial control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a two-stage HV substation project
  • Manage programme, milestones, interfaces, and project deliverables
  • Administer NEC4 contracts including compensation events and change control
  • Oversee cost management, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Manage subcontractors, construction activities, and commissioning coordination
  • Lead risk mitigation and opportunity management throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with HV safety rules, CDM regulations, and HSE standards
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management
  • Proven experience delivering HV Substation / T&D projects
  • Strong NEC4 contract knowledge
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and design interfaces
  • Strong programme management and commercial reporting skills
  • Experience working with transmission-connected clients
  • Strong focus on Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental compliance

Desirable:

  • APM / PRINCE2 / PMP qualifications
  • Heavy Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering background
