Sous Chef – New Opening Location: Liverpool Salary: £37,500 per annum

We're looking for a talented Sous Chef to join a newly opened venue in Liverpool, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a kitchen with a real focus on chef-led, ingredient-driven cooking.

The Role Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional food offering, maintaining high standards and helping to develop a kitchen team that shares a genuine passion for great cooking.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Delivering consistently high-quality dishes using fresh, quality ingredients.
Taking pride in preparation, presentation and attention to detail.
Helping to develop menus that showcase great produce and thoughtful cooking.
Leading and motivating the kitchen team during busy services.
Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards.
Managing stock, minimising waste and ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
About You We're looking for a chef who is passionate about food and understands the importance of getting the basics right.
You'll need:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to take the next step.
Essential experience working with fresh food from scratch – this is not a kitchen reliant on convenience products.
A genuine interest in ingredients, seasonality and quality-led cooking.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to lead by example.
The confidence to support a Head Chef and help drive standards across the kitchen.
A positive, professional attitude and a desire to keep learning and developing.
