Lead a great venue. Make your mark. Be part of something growing. We're looking for an ambitious, people-focused General Manager to take the lead at a fantastic community venue in Leeds.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing hospitality business with exciting plans for the future. We're looking for someone who wants more than simply running a venue day to day — someone who wants to have a voice, bring ideas to the table, and genuinely drive their business forward.
The venue has a great community feel, and we want a GM who understands the importance of building relationships, creating memorable experiences, and making it somewhere people love to return to.
The Role As General Manager, you'll take ownership of the venue, leading from the front and ensuring everything runs smoothly while continually looking for ways to improve and develop the business.
You'll have the opportunity to shape the venue's future, influence decisions, and work with a business that values people who take initiative and make things happen.
Your responsibilities will include:
Taking full ownership of the venue's day-to-day operation and commercial performance.
Leading, developing, and motivating a team to deliver consistently great experiences.
Building strong relationships with the local community and developing customer loyalty.
Driving sales, profitability, and overall business performance.
Maintaining high standards across service, operations, and the customer experience.
Bringing fresh ideas and taking the initiative to improve the venue.
Working closely with the wider business to support its continued growth and success.
What We're Looking For We're keen to speak with experienced General Managers who have the personality, commercial awareness, and ambition to make a real difference.
You'll ideally have:
Experience managing a hospitality venue, with responsibility for a team and its performance.
A strong commercial mindset and an understanding of what drives a successful business.
The ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team.
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating a welcoming, community-focused environment.
The confidence to bring ideas forward, challenge the status quo, and take ownership.
A hands-on approach, with the drive to make the venue the best it can be.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to be involved, have their voice heard, and play an active role in the company's continued development.
What's On Offer? Salary of approximately £44,000 , depending on experience.
