My client is currently seeking an experienced Fire Service & Maintenance Engineer to join a growing and professional team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a varied and rewarding role, working across a wide range of environments and locations.
The role is focused on planned preventative maintenance (PPM), fault finding, and repair of life safety systems, ensuring compliance and safety for clients. You’ll play a key part in delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards across fire alarms, emergency lighting, AOVs, and more.

Your Main Duties Will Include:
- Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems (BS5839-1), emergency lighting, nurse call and access control
- Fault finding and repairing systems in line with British Standards
- Completing accurate service reports and documentation
- Identifying and reporting deficiencies
- Supporting H&S compliance and identifying potential site risks
- Managing van stock levels with support from procurement
- Delivering a first-time fix wherever possible
- Representing the company with professionalism and excellent customer service
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience working with fire alarm systems (analogue addressable & conventional)
- FIA training (or equivalent) in BS5839-1
- Strong understanding of BS5839 Parts 1 & 6
- Good IT literacy and communication skills
- A Health & Safety mindset
- A full UK Driving Licence
- Flexibility to work 40+ hours/week, with availability for weekend and on-call work
*Paid in SAGE vouchers, £500 within the first full month of employment, and £500 after successful completion of 3-month probation.
