I'm on the lookout for a Sous Chef in Birmingham, to help lead the kitchen team as part of a much loved, nationwide restaurant group.
The restaurant offers a themed menu that changes are regular intervals through the year. The role offers progression and development as well as a secure and stable environment, perfect for a dedicated and passionate Sous Chef.
Key Duties:
Support the Head Chef in managing a smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.
Ensuring strict quality standards for food preparation, presentation and taste, ensuring that each dish is of the highest calibre before leaving the kitchen
Support the Head Chef on the daily running of the kitchen, including overseeing the recruitment and selection process.
Control and achieve financial targets set by management
Experience in a similar restaurant environment and experience of managing a team in a busy restaurant is essential.
