We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (C) day Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an HGV Class 2 (C) Truck to deliver General Haulage efficiently and safely across designated routes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving HGV Class 2 (C) Flatbed vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety.
Duties:
- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 (C) Flatbed truck in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Hold your HGV 2 (C) License for 12 months or more.
- Multi drops and straight trunk of general Haulage to various sites, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs.
- No handball involved.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license with a clean driving record - 12 months or more.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability.
- No more than 6 points. No DD, DR & IN10 Endorsements.
Pay rates:
- £16ph Days basic / overtime £24ph.
- £17.93ph basic / overtime £26ph - Holidays included.
