We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our growing team across the North West. This is a field-based role working across a variety of commercial sites. You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault‑finding on a range of security systems while building strong relationships with customers.
Pay: From £40,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
Location: Travel required around areas of North‑West (vehicle provided)
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and maintain CCTV systems
- Experience working with intruder alarms, access control systems and ideally fire alarms also
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
- Complete all service documentation and reports accurately
- Ensure systems meet relevant British Standards
- Support with occasional small installation works when required
- Participate in a shared telephone support call‑out rota
Systems Experience Required:
- Access Control (Paxton, Comelit PAC)
- Fire Alarms (BS5839 compliant)
- Intruder Alarms (Texecom, Honeywell Galaxy)
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar role - minimum 3 years
- Strong knowledge of security systems
- Good understanding of industry standards
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Professional and reliable with good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to pass security vetting
