By translating demand trends and growth plans into actionable plans, you will ensure smooth operations, strong peak performance, and an excellent customer experience. You will also ensure operational compliance with statutory and governance requirements and represent the company in relevant legal and regulatory matters. This is a permanent position based in the United Kingdom with regular onsite presence and travel.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the operational relationship with our UK‑based 3PL fulfillment partner, acting as the key point of contact and ensuring alignment with business objectives, contractual agreements, and Westwing standards.
  • Monitor and continuously optimise warehouse SLAs and KPIs (inbound, outbound, inventory accuracy, lead times, capacity utilisation), driving structured performance management through regular business reviews and data‑driven improvement initiatives.
  • Drive the setup, optimisation, and scaling of last‑mile and line‑haul operations in the UK, ensuring service quality, cost‑efficiency, operational resilience and long‑term scalability.
  • Translate demand trends, seasonality, and growth plans into proactive capacity and resource planning to ensure fulfillment readiness and smooth peak execution.
  • Align cross‑functionally with Logistics, Planning, Customer Experience, Tech, and Finance to resolve operational challenges and improve the end‑to‑end customer journey.
  • Ensure full compliance with Westwing’s operational standards, inventory governance, reporting accuracy, and financial alignment at the 3PL site.
  • Implement structured reporting, dashboards, and escalation frameworks, enabling data‑driven decision‑making and early risk mitigation, leveraging AI where beneficial.
  • Conduct regular onsite audits and partner reviews, identifying improvement opportunities and strengthening relationships with logistics partners and carriers.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain management, ideally within a fast‑paced eCommerce or retail environment.
  • Proven experience managing 3PL providers, including SLA governance, contract management, and performance‑improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of UK last‑mile and line‑haul logistics networks, including carrier management and cost‑performance trade‑offs.

  • A high level of ownership with a hands‑on, team‑oriented approach, supporting leadership and driving improvements in a dynamic, scale‑up environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in a cross‑functional and international setting.
  • Willingness to travel regularly (30‑40% on average, scaling up to 80% during peak seasons and for onboarding).

Benefits:

  • An inspiring, international environment that empowers you to think big, take ownership, and grow beyond your comfort zone.
  • Flexible working mode.
  • 25 days of paid holiday plus paid special leave days.
  • Exclusive discounts – 40% off Westwing Collection, 20% off third‑party brands, 10% Family & Friends discount, plus special‑occasion vouchers.
