We're looking for an enthusiastic After School Teacher to join Westway Trust on a one-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of an extension. Based in North Kensington, you'll deliver engaging after-school teaching that helps children from the Traveller community build confidence and improve their reading, writing and spelling skills. You will provide high-quality teaching for children across the Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (up to age 8). Teaching is mainly delivered on a one-to-one basis, with occasional small group sessions, allowing you to give every child the support they need to succeed. Working 6 hours per week during term time (39 weeks per year), you'll spend 4 hours teaching and 2 hours preparing lessons, carrying out outreach and maintaining contact with schools.
