Jury\’s Corner, Kingskerswell 20 hours per week £13,716 (FTE £24,861) per annum

Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Residential Scheme Manager, specialising in the needs of older people, to live on-site in a two bedroom flat. The accommodation will have a license agreement in place and a monthly charge of £420.18 per month is payable for the accommodation, plus utilities.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Older People Service in Kingskerswell to deliver a high-quality service to customers in accordance with Westward\’s policies and practices. Jury\’s Corner is development that is situated in the town of Kingskerswell, Devon and comprises of 27 self contained properties for those aged over 58.

Duties of this position include:

  • Assisting residents to help maintain their well-being and independence
  • Consulting with residents on all issues affecting them and their home and liaising with relevant agencies
  • Carrying out a telephone morning call service. – if required
  • Account for income and expenditure on the scheme
  • Undertaking regular pendant alarm equipment checks (as required)
  • Carrying out regular health and safety assessments, reporting and following up

You will be required to participate in resident/scheme meetings as required, integrate new residents into the scheme, encourage, support and co-ordinate social activities.
