Older People Services, Bideford 37.5 hours per week Salary: £26,237 per annum We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Worker with experience or a passion to work within housing management to join our supported housing schemes to work with older people in the North Devon area. You will provide high quality one to one support to our residents to help them develop the skills to understand and maintain their homes and tenancy.
Your duties will include:
- Ensure that customers receive appropriate support, encouragement and advice according to their individual needs to enable them to settle into and maintain their accommodation
- Provide a housing related support service working with organisational targets against rent arrears and voids
- Ensure customers are well informed and consulted about the services provided and available opportunities
- Identify and act on any safeguarding concerns
