We have an exciting opportunity for a communications officer who is digitally creative, passionate and savvy to join our team. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in digital content who are committed to providing a positive customer experience. This is a busy and exciting role where you will help the communications team to deliver the business objectives through strong communications and content. You will also maximise customer engagement and empowerment through our digital channels. This is a homeworking position with occasional travel to customers and colleagues across Devon and Cornwall and regular meetings in our Newton Abbot office.
Duties include:
- Maximising opportunities to promote Westward's work
- Creating digital media for web, intranet and social media
- PR, editorial and copywriting
- Media handling and publicity
- Providing interviews and films for information and promotion
- Engaging with colleagues on internal communications to support our culture
Is this you?
- Has experience in a multi-discipline communications team
- Keen to provide great communications to customers, colleagues and business stakeholders
- Someone creative who also has strong initiative and thinks strategically
- Knowledge of monitoring and analytics
- Skilled at working with filmmaking, design software and web cms
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Can prioritise a busy and varied workload
- Full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use
