We have a new and exciting role shaping the future of housing services and making a real difference in delivering for our customers. We're looking for an exceptional Assistant Director of Housing to lead high-performing services, inspire teams, and drive innovation across tenancy management, lettings, income, independent living and leasehold services. This is a milestone opportunity to step into a strategic leadership role at the heart of Westward's customer offer.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and shape a broad, high-impact housing portfolio spanning tenancy management, lettings, financial inclusion, income, independent living and leasehold services.
- Champion service innovation and customer satisfaction by using data, insight and feedback to improve performance and experience.
- Drive compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing consumer standards and provide expert guidance on housing policy, tenancy and leasehold legislation.
- Inspire, lead and develop talented teams to deliver outstanding services for customers and strong organisational outcomes.
- Work in partnership across the organisation and with external stakeholders, local authorities and partners to build thriving communities and resilient neighbourhoods.
- Oversee budgets, performance, risk and continuous improvement across housing and leasehold services.
- Support a modern, digital approach to communication and service delivery that meets the evolving needs of customers.
