We are recruiting Care Assistants/Drivers with recent care experience to support our patient transport services. Duties include assisting passengers with mobility needs, supporting wheelchair and stretcher transfers, and ensuring safe, comfortable and compassionate care throughout each journey. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential, as driving is not mandatory for this role.
Recent experience working as a Care Assistant, Support Worker or in a similar care role.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Compassionate, patient and respectful approach to supporting vulnerable individuals.Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs, including wheelchair and stretcher transfers. (training will be provided)Understanding of dignity, safeguarding and confidentiality.Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to undertake relevant training.A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
