JOB PURPOSE: To assist all Print Minders on the print machines working to meet the planned output for quality, volume and yield to customer requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assisting the print minder to make ready and run print presses to meet the required performance and quality standards
- Work on the press to cover when required
- Follow work procedures and work to the recognised standards
- Prepare pallets of paper for use on the machines
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping to pharmaceutical standards (ISO9001, ISO14001)
- Take charge of printer's waste and the recycling of consumables
- Adhere to SHE regulations
- Ensure that all material and consumables required for efficient running of the press are kept available for use by the Print Minder
- Carry out any other reasonable task as requested once adequately trained
QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Pharmaceutical Code of Practice
- Problem solving skills
- Should have excellent colour vision
- Quality conscious
WORKING HOURS: Days and Nights: 3 x 12 hour shifts per week rotating between days and nights. Working Hours: 6.30am - 6.30pm / 6.30pm - 6.30am
