The Role
To ensure customer margin is maximised in Leicester site, provide commercial support to customer projects including the sales and customer service organisations and manage day to day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review account profitability and support activities to increase margin and reduce cost
- Own the performance of the site customer service team to maximise customer margin opportunities
- Own and analyse estimates to support cost versus actual processes; drive weekly and monthly reviews
- Support new projects and products from a commercial perspective
- Ensure customer contracts are in place with best-in-class commercial governance
- Manage and control finished goods and aged stocks
- Drive account profitability and margin improvement
- Ensure quotes and prices are controlled and customers receive best-in-class responses
- Manage and control risk stocking
- Collaborate with the divisional commercial team to ensure margin opportunities are exploited, pricing is consistent, and commercial information is accurately relayed to site and division
- Manage factory overloads by coordinating with Group and external suppliers to meet all customer commitments
- Any other duties reasonably requested

- C. 3 years (small site) to C. 5 years (large site) of relevant sales management experience
