Overview
JOB PURPOSE: This role will support the site and management across several areas. The successful candidate will be involved across all departments of the composite business in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Managing site communications and supporting data analysis for site production.
- Managing inventory for site office supplies and stationery.
- Updating notice boards around the site as directed.
- Engagement champion for the site e.g. Values First, CSR.
- Welcoming visitors in line with the company sign-in procedures and ensuring inductions are carried out.
- Maintaining tidiness and housekeeping of the reception, post areas, and shared office areas.
- Maintaining sufficient stock levels of stationery, refreshments, health and safety, and cleaning products, ordering supplies as required by the company.
- Updating employee noticeboards with information from management and HR.
Supply Chain Responsibilities (company training will be provided for the following tasks)
- Raising purchase orders.
- Processing delivery notes and amending orders as required.
- Accurately filing and maintaining company documents in compliance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
- Supporting management with Time and Attendance admin and system use.
- Communicating with suppliers on pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
- Maintaining supplier contacts, records, and contracts (keeping them up to date).
- Coordinating with couriers to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with client agreements and KPI’s.
- Organising supply chain documents for audit purposes.
- Being a point of contact between procurement, warehouse, customer service, and stakeholders.
- Assisting in raising production orders.
- Liaising with customers and providing stock lists.
- Providing regular reports to our existing customers.
