Westray Recruitment Group are seeking an Instrumentation Pipe Fitter to join our client in Sunderland who is a global company specialising in piping systems for various industries, providing a full range of products and services. They have a focus on reliability and environmental friendliness. As a result of an increase in work and a busy order book, they are seeking an Instrumentation Pipe Fitter to join their team.
You will report directly to the Piping Supervisor within the Local Piping Management Team. You will be able to work alone or as part of a team either in the workshop or onsite, being able to carry out installation of connections and pipework. You will be provided training on all company products, systems and equipment. You will carry out mechanical assemblies and installations. You will be able to maintain the business’ fleet of equipment and service it. You must be available to work overtime & weekends when required. You will carry out pipefitting and small-bore tubing and have the ability to manufacture simple and complex geometry piping. You can communicate well with all customer types and levels, from workshop to corporate. You need good working knowledge of standard office software such as Microsoft Excel and Word. A full UK driving licence is required for this role. A Forklift truck licence would be advantageous. Having worked at hydraulic companies carrying out pipefitting would be advantageous. Additional Certificates Preferred include Offshore BOSIET & Medical and SBT Experience.
