THE BUSINESS
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded domestic abuse charity dedicated to providing immediate support, long-term recovery services, and preventative education across South Tyneside and the wider North East. They are at a critical juncture of planned growth and service development, requiring a hands-on, execution-focused administrator to translate their strategic vision into operational reality.
THE ROLE
- Support the CEO and Board of Trustees with governance administration.
- Work with CEO and external communications support team to produce our quarterly newsletter.
- Lead employment checks, onboarding/offboarding, and recruitment administration.
- Maintain accurate organisational records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Arrange meetings and maintain diaries, including finding available dates from all attendees, arranging venues, booking facilities/equipment and refreshments.
- Taking telephone calls using company protocols and use initiative to resolve issues for callers.
- Respecting the privacy, dignity, needs and beliefs of clients and colleagues.
THE PERSON
- Communication and relationship building
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in executive-level administration support
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools
- Driving licence would be essential for this role
- Experience with senior level administration and or HR processes.
- Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
