THE BUSINESS

Westray Recruitment Group are seeking an Instrumentation Pipe Fitter to join our client in Sunderland who is a global company specialising in piping systems for various industries. They operate globally with multiple branches; providing a full range of products and services to various industries. They have a focus on reliability and environmental friendliness. The organisation has a solid order book and can provide role stability as they have a long serving history with their clients. As a result of increase in work and a busy order book they are seeking an Instrumentation Pipe Fitter to join their team.

THE ROLE

You will report directly to the Piping Supervisor within the Local Piping Management Team. You will be able to work alone or as part of a team either in the workshop or onsite being able to carry out installation of connections and pipework. Your work will include being able to mark off and install brackets, being able to measure site run pipework and bend it accordingly with use of suitable bending equipment. You will be provided training on all company products, systems and equipment. You will carry out mechanical assemblies and installations. You will be able to maintain the business’ fleet of equipment and service it. You must be available to work overtime.
