The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Monday – Friday 7:45am to 5:15pm (45 hours per week)

Overtime available (time ½ & double time)

22 days holiday + Bank Holidays (increasing 1 day per annum up to 30 days)

THE BUSINESS

Westray Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced IPAF Operator to join our client based in Newcastle. The right candidate will be joining a trusted provider of powered access rental, training and equipment sales. The company in question have extensive knowledge and expertise within the sector and are looking to bolster their already highly skilled team due to a period of growth.

THE ROLE

  • Working on customer as a IPAF Operator
  • Working with mainly truck/van mounted platforms and spiderlifts
  • Collections/deliveries of hire fleet
  • Providing fleet maintenance including PDI’s, general maintenance of hire fleet
  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs including; cleaning/greasing booms, changing wipers/bulbs and checking oil levels
  • Maintain service reminders/organise upcoming inspections for fleet in a timely manner

THE PERSON

  • Current IPAF Operator licence including regular use of access equipment
  • Driving Licence including Category C1 and previous experience of towing
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • IT literate - fleet maintenance schedules are all done electronically
  • Must be prepared to work in all weathers and be physically fit
  • Must have excellent time keeping skills and be prepared to work flexible hours as and when required
