- 37 hours per week
- 2 shift rotation
- Day Shift - Mon to Thu 06:00-14:00 Fri 06:00-13:30
- Back Shift - Mon to Thu 13:45-23:45 Fri 13:45-22:45
- (During probation - Mon to Thu 07:30-16:00 Fri 07:00-12:30)

THE ROLE
- Produce precision-engineered components from technical drawings using Puma CNC turning machines
- Program, set, and operate CNC lathes (Fanuc controls) to achieve accurate and consistent results
- Work to tight tolerances (up to 0.02mm) while maintaining high quality standards
- Deliver components within agreed production deadlines
- Ensure all machining activities comply with company procedures and British Standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency
- Support wider teams in fault finding and resolving production or engineering issues
- Work collaboratively within a small, skilled machine shop handling a varied workload
THE PERSON
- Time-served CNC machinist with strong turning experience
- Proven experience with Fanuc programming (essential)
- Experience operating Puma CNC machines is advantageous
- Able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Confident working in both metric and imperial measurements
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible in approach to work
- Team player with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic
