THE BUSINESS
Our fantastic client is a leading high-volume manufacturing business based in the South of Durham. They seek an experienced Warehouse Coordinator focusing on goods in, with solid warehousing and stock control experience. This is a permanent position from day one with an immediate start.
THE ROLE
- Contribute to the effective running of a safe and effective site
- Taking phone calls to book deliveries in and out
- Liaise with warehouse staff reference delivery notes/documentation
- Daily communication with the site
- Check that delivery notes and goods have matching batch numbers on for raw materials and C of As
- Purchase Ledger back up
- Cycle count assist
- Warehouse stock control
- Goods Inward (GRN) booking in
- Correct labelling incoming goods with our stock code
- Stock transfers between warehouses
- Check goods for outbound matching orders (assist Manager)
- Ensure that original delivery notes are transferred to main site
- Complete other work for Manager and Senior Leadership as required
THE PERSON
- Strong warehousing and stock control background
- Great attitude
- Must be resilient and enjoy a challenge
- Must be diligent, accurate and analytical
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office
- Skilled in Computerised Operating Systems – Opera, Sage etc.
- Fork Truck license an advantage but not essential
- Ability to manage own workload
- Good teamworking skills
