They seek to appoint a talented transport planner to join their excellent team in Gateshead. THE ROLE Successfully manage an established and reputable HGV fleet Successfully plan and maintain an HGV fleet Ensure clear and pro-active communication with drivers and customers alike Costing and planning routes for the HGV fleet Ensuring excellent administration at all times throughout planning and execution Laise with contractors as and when required Representing our client’s brand in a professional and diligent manner at all times Managing sub-contractors when required to do so THE PERSON Proven experience working with HVG Fleet Proven transport planning experience Costings and financial experience in regards to transport planning Extremely comfortable dealing with customers, drivers and clients Previous route planning experience Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Excellent planning ability Knowledge and prior experience of curtain sizes and similar related aspects hugely beneficial TO APPLY Please apply for this position and your CV will go direct to Kyle Jevons who is leading the search.
