The Business:
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Labourer on behalf of a well-established specialist engineering and industrial services company based in Stockton. Our client delivers high-quality services across a range of sectors and is looking to strengthen their team with a reliable and hardworking individual who enjoys a varied role.
The Role:
As a Labourer, you will play an important role in supporting site operations and ensuring projects run efficiently. This is a hands-on position that will involve working both on-site and travelling to customer locations when required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out general labouring duties to support site operations.
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
- Performing manual handling tasks in line with health and safety procedures.
- Removing waste materials and keeping work areas free from hazards.
- Assisting with deliveries and distributing materials around site.
- Collecting samples from customer sites, including occasional travel to Glasgow.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Supporting different departments and adapting to a variety of tasks as required.
The Person:
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
- A valid CSCS Card.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
- A maximum of 3 penalty points on your driving licence.
- Eligibility to drive company vehicles for insurance purposes (drivers must be aged 25 or over).
- Previous experience in a labouring or site-based role.
- Good awareness of health and safety practices.
- A positive attitude with the flexibility to work across different sites.
- The ability to carry out manual handling duties and work as part of a team.
- A reliable, hardworking approach with excellent timekeeping.
