THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking to recruit multiple Operatives for our client based in Silloth. The business is a UK-based national manufacturer and distributor of fertiliser products, operating across a network of multiple strategically located production sites throughout England, Scotland and Wales. It delivers a broad portfolio of soil and crop nutrition solutions, ranging from standard fertiliser grades to enhanced-efficiency and prescription blends designed to improve nutrient use efficiency, soil health and crop performance. THE ROLE
- Packing goods in a fast-paced production environment
- Physical activity including lifting up to 20kg
- Handling stock
- Operating machinery
- Sealing the products
- Quality checking items ensuring there are no defects
- Completing paperwork
- Once trained operate a counterbalance truck
THE PERSON
- You will be physically fit, have the ability to lift and handle stock
- Experience packing in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous however this isn’t mandatory as training will be provided
- Flexible to undertake additional duties to support business demands
- Previous experience operating a counterbalance truck would be advantageous however this isn’t mandatory as training will be provided
