THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group is recruiting PC Builders / Warehouse Operatives to support a leading global manufacturer of custom-built gaming computers during one of their busiest periods of the year. Due to increased customer demand in the run up to Christmas, we are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the production team on a temporary basis until Christmas. These roles are ideal for candidates with assembly experience, an interest in computers, or anyone who enjoys working with technology and precision-built products. The business operates within a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality, accuracy and efficiency are key. Following continued growth and expansion into larger premises, they are looking to strengthen their production team to meet seasonal demand.
THE ROLE
Working as part of a busy production team, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality gaming PCs to customer specification while maintaining excellent quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and assembling gaming PC systems from component level
- Installing and securing computer hardware accurately and efficiently
- Working from build specifications and assembly instructions
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the build process
- Ensuring all products meet company quality standards before dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working area
- Achieving daily production targets whilst maintaining attention to detail
You may be working with components including:
- Computer Cases
- Motherboards
- CPUs
- Memory (RAM)
- Hard Drives & SSDs
- Graphics Cards
- Power Supplies
- Cooling Systems and Fans
- Cabling and peripheral components
THE PERSON
We are looking for reliable individuals who take pride in producing high-quality work and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous electrical or electronic assembly experience (preferred)
- PC building experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good reliability, punctuality and attendance
- The ability to work to production targets without compromising quality
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required
- A genuine interest in computers or technology would be beneficial
Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates who have assembly experience and an enthusiasm for PC hardware.
