THE BUSINESS
We are excited to be supporting a key client in the food manufacturing industry in their search for an experienced Food Production Operator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly reputable organisation that values your skills and offers long-term career prospects.
THE ROLE
- Following SOPs to ensure that products are manufactured to the specifications outlined in documented standards.
- Ensuring safe and efficient machine changeovers.
- Monitoring and controlling yields, stock, and ingredients within your work area to optimise production and minimise waste.
- Maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and efficiency throughout all tasks.
- Package finished food products according to specified packaging standards.
- Label and seal packaging correctly to prevent contamination and ensure traceability.
- Inspect the products for defects.
THE PERSON
- Demonstrable experience in food or FMCG production environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and reliable approach to work, with a strong focus on teamwork and communication.
- Able to work shifts.
- Must be able to read/write and understand English – also pass an inhouse English test.
