Working 5 days on 7am to 7pm followed by 5 days off, then working 4 days 7am to 7pm followed by 4 days off.

THE BUSINESS
We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Stores Person to support operations at our facility. The role involves managing goods receiving, inspection, storage, inventory control, and preparation of aircraft parts to support maintenance activities. You will act as a Goods-In Inspector, ensuring all components, materials, and tools are received, checked, stored, and issued in line with OEM requirements and UK CAA / EASA regulations, while maintaining high standards of safety, organisation, and compliance.
THE ROLE
- Carry out receiving inspections of all goods, ensuring correct condition and documentation.
- Monitor part and consumable stock levels and shelf life, escalating issues within the Supply Chain as required.
- Support the Stores Supervisor in reviewing and improving store operations and procedures.
- Work closely with Lead Store Person and Tooling Specialists to perform tooling checks, manage inventory, and maintain records.
- Prioritise and prepare aircraft parts for maintenance inputs as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and general upkeep of hangar stores.
- Support the day-to-day running of the stores operation.
- Effectively operate the maintenance system.
- Ensure workplace health and safety standards are met at all times.
- Apply Dangerous Goods Awareness in daily activities.
- Store all materials correctly and comply with company material-handling procedures.
- Receive and dispatch materials to appropriate warehouse locations.
- Undertake additional duties as directed by the Stores Supervisor.
- Actively promote a positive safety culture through hazard reporting, continuous improvement, and human factors awareness.
