THE BUSINESS

THE ROLE
You will be working as an Industrial Paint Prepper / Sprayer as part of the production team, working alongside an experienced painter. Some of your tasks will include:
- Preparing goods for painting through grinding, sanding, chipping, cleaning, and other surface preparation methods
- Applying protective coatings, including primers, epoxies, intumescent coatings, and top coats using air-assisted airless spray equipment
- Reading and interpreting paint specifications, coating systems, and engineering/job drawings
- Mixing paints and coatings in line with manufacturer specifications, ensuring correct ratios and viscosity
- Operating and maintaining spray painting equipment, including routine cleaning and basic fault checks
