Reporting into the Technology Training Manager, the Technology Training Centre Coordinator will join our Learning and Development team on a full-time basis at our WesTrac Technology Training Centre in Collie, WA.
This role involves coordinating and managing the successful operation of the facility, ensuring a safe and rewarding experience for all users.
There may be requirements to travel to Perth or WesTrac’s Bunbury Branch.
Roster:Monday to Friday, 8.5 hours per day (including meal break)
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement a facilities management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements
- Manage site operations including security, car parking, kitchen facilities, contract maintenance and waste management
- Coordinate site activities between WesTrac teams and customers using the facility
- Assist in developing and managing promotional events and projects related to the facility
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in administration, planning and scheduling, logistics or facility management is essential
- Proven ability to manage internal/external customer relationships
- Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools like MS Project)
- Understanding of HSEQ Management Systems and relevant ISO standards
- Extensive knowledge of relevant State Legislation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
- Trade Certificate and mobile equipment knowledge or mechanical aptitude (desirable)
- Safety or mining industry qualification (desirable)
