Reporting into the Head of Learning & Development, the National RTO Manager will join our L& D team on a full-time, permanent basis at our Institute in South Guildford, WA.
This role involves leading the WesTrac Registered Training Organisation (RTO) function, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across Safety and Pre-Trade Technical Training teams.
Roster: Monday to Friday, 8.5 hours per day (including meal break)
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage RTO compliance, scope, and quality across WA and NSW
- Conduct internal audits and implement improvements with the L&D team
- Oversee the Institute Workshop and Safety Training team
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management across RTO, Safety & Pre-Trade teams
- Drive digital transformation including aXcelerate, online assessments, and record digitisation
- Liaise with ASQA, DTWD, and key internal/external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with ASQA, ISO 9001, and funding submissions (e.g. RAPT, Smart & Skilled)
Skills & Experience:
- Proven leadership across multi-functional teams
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment coupled with relevant RTO experience, preferably in the industrial/mining industry
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of RTO management and National VET Framework
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and digital systems experience
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments
